Male Blackbird art print. A print of my black bird drawing. Hand-drawn using watercolour pencils in September 2016 showing a male black bird side-on in all of his soft feathery detail. Part of my Native British Garden Birds collection featuring native wild and song birds that are regular visitors to our gardens and green spaces here in Britain.
The male blackbird is exactly that, a black bird. Blackbirds are a regular visitor to gardens, and even if they can be just a little bit destructive at times, this print is still a great gift for gardeners, bird lovers and bird watchers alike.
Watercolour pencils are special water soluble colouring pencils. With these I can literally paint with pencils, blending the vibrancy of a painting with the intricacy of fine pencil lines.
Once I completed this work, a high resolution scan was made of it. From that I exclusively produce prints and other items featuring this feathered friend.

An artistic matt finish on textured fine art paper gives each print an appropriate pencil drawing look.
Supplied unmounted and unframed.
