'Kerry'
Description
Kerry openly nude, innocently walking a dog amongst castle ruins.
Explanation
My first attempt at painting a likeness to a real person. Although I should probably not be kicking off on a negative, unfortunately I do not consider this particular piece all that successful as a painting in its own right.
The pose, for example, is really quite flat and the figure in general is more akin to a doll. As a painting of Kerry, the facial likeness is poor.
I could criticise this painting all day and would approach most of it differently if I was to repaint the same subject in the same setting.

However, it has to be said that this was a learning experience, painted in very little time, helping me to find my feet. And from that perspective it has been successful.
The location of the painting is fictional and Kerry posed indoors briefly, without her four-legged friend, for me to paint her in the foreground.
Kerry makes a perfect life model so I shall be painting her again.
