Designed and developed by Martin, the main purpose of MartinBalmer.com is to group together all his artwork, design, programming and creative writing, into one on-line home.

The web site was set up in 2004 to coincide with Martin’s foraye into creative writing and penning a novel.

Since it’s incarnation the web site has been built with many technologies, from basic HTML through a compiled Delphi ISAPI library and currently with PHP.

The use of PHP has made for a progressive and painless ride towards WordPress integration. WordPress, itself written in PHP, is a popular blogging and content management system.

The coupling with WordPress provides not only an on-line content creation and management tool but also allows articles and photographs to be published out-and-about from Smartphones.
