Foxie, Foxlease

Foxlease, in heart of the New Forest, has been a destination for girl guides for over 100 years. Sadly the Foxlease estate closed at the end of 2023.

In this artwork, hand-drawn in watercolour pencils, Princess Mary House provides the backdrop to a Rainbow, Brownie, Guide and Ranger, and Foxie sitting at the forefront.

There is a little bit of artistic license at play, as camping would not be taking place in front of the house. As well as camping, and accommodation, Foxlease also offered activities such as climbing, kayaking, archery, and much more within its 65 acre estate.

Foxie’s Future
